He nodded agreeing to this. It was hot and he couldn't think of anything better to say. Nice, Sam. Real nice.
"I was born in Kansas. You know where a nice place to go is? Montana, I've been their once it's not bad. Where I was at it was mainly a ski resort."
He remembered going to Red Lodge, Montana and running into a few vampires who decided to no longer fest on humans but cattle instead. However Sam's timing was a bit off. He went from one subject to all of a sudden a different subject. He walked into the coffee shop with Marci.
"So, what kind of coffee would you like? I'll buy." he offered.

"Ah, ever run into the wizard?" Marci asked, of course she was just kidding around. When he mentioned a nice place to go she nodded with a smile, "I'll have to go there sometime." She said with amusement in her voice. It was obvious he felt uncomfortable, and she wanted to find out why.
Entering the coffee shop she was glad to feel the Air Conditioner. Though now, it was a bit too cold. She could deal with it though. Walking up to the front with Sam she waited for the people in front of them to get their order. When Sam offered to pay for her coffee she almost denied him, but instead said. "Just get me a small black coffee. If you're sure you want to pay for mine."

"No, it's okay I insist. I'll pay for it. You sure you want a small coffee?"
He fished around in the back of his pockt for his wallet. Moving to the counter he opened his wallet and pulled out a twenty dollar bill.
"I'll have a medium coffee with cream and sugar... and she'll have..."

Marci bit her bottom lip, she always felt uncomfortable in situations like these Looking to him she then moved forward with him. When he ordered his own drink and then trailed off, waiting for her to order she quietly said, "I'll have the same."

Sam handed the clerk the the twenty dollar bill and received his change back. The clerk soon returned with the two requested drinks. Sam took both of the warm cups of coffee and handed one to Marci.
"Let's go sit down."
He picked out the nearest seat and sat with Marci. He sipped on his coffee and set it down with both of his hands wrapped around the cup. His hands began to feel warm. He scanned his brain trying to think of something else to say to Marci. He began to wonder if she had any family at all.
"So, any brothers or sisters?"

"Thanks." Marci told Sam when he handed her, her drink. Nodding when he suggested they go sit down, she waited for him to go in front of her. Following behind him she couldn't help but let her eyes wander for a moment, what? She couldn't help it...
Quickly lifting her gaze upward, she tried not to look flushed when he turned to sit down. Taking a seat across from him she took a warning sip of her coffee. It was still a bit too hot so she put it down for now.
At his question she looked up to him before smiling lightly, "Nah, only child." She said, fixing her hair. Sometimes it sucked to be an only child, but it also had it's pluses.
Having forgotten if he had told her, or she had asked him she then asked, "Sorry, I forgot. Do you have any siblings?"

It was a little too hot for coffee but it seemed like the universal drink to have conversations with. Well except for alcohol but that was if you wanted to get drunk while you were at it. Sam couldn’t help but smile that she was an only child. He envied her in away that she was an only child. Sam at times wished he was an only child. He wouldn’t have to deal with the picking and the whole I’m old thing. Of course he was grateful at the same time. If it wasn’t for Dean, Sam would’ve been in a shit load of trouble.
“Just one. An older brother who’s a pain in the ass at most times.”

Marci put on a fake pout, or well...it was fake to a point. "Lucky. I wish I had a sister, or a brother." She said before resting her chin in the palm of her hand. It sucked being an only child for the most part. "I bet he's not a pain in the butt..." She trailed off before taking another sip of her coffee, which was a bit cooler now but still a bit to hot. Trying not to spit it out, Sam might notice her eyes well up with tears of pain. She didn't want to look like a fool and spit out like she wanted to, so instead she swallowed it quickly before coughing. "Sorry." She said after she was done coughing, her face scarlet.

“Yeah, I wish I was an only child at times” he laughed.
He raised an eyebrow at Marci he wasn’t for sure if didn’t like the coffee and was being nice and just drinking it or it was too hot for her. He was starting to think maybe the coffee idea was a bad idea. Sam gave Marci a polite smile and nodded. He was beginning to feel bad most women would’ve probably dropped him by now and told they had an emergency or they were late for something. Anything to get away from him.
“It’s ok. How about we go somewhere else? I’ll let you choose since my idea was lame.”

"It was the coffee, it's just really hot." Marci said before coughing again. On the contrary, Marci actually liked talking with him, even if he was quiet...Well, compared to some guys who just went on and on about themselves and their lives. When he said they could go somewhere else, Marci felt confused. However, it was a bit too hot for coffee, even if they were in an a place with AC. "How about we just take a walk?" She suggested.

OOC: Sorry this took me so long. I've been having bad writer's block
Sam nodded. Maybe a walk would be better than drinking hot coffee on a hot day. He took one last drink from his coffee before standing up and tossing it into the nearby trash can. He walked outside of the coffee shop. This time around he was going to follow Marci instead of trying to be the leader. Once again he shoved his hands in his pockets. Being a shy boy sucked for him but having the job that he had… well wasn’t much time to take a girl out to dinner and a movie. She smiled down at Marci.
“Which way?”

((Aw, well I hope you're over that. I enjoy RPing with ya. ) Marci rose from her seat and went over to the trash, feeling bad for throwing away so much coffee, she took a few sips of it before throwing it away. "I'll pay you back for that..." She trailed off as she began to walk outside. Fixing her bangs, she looked around before looking up at him with a smile. At his question she bit her bottom lip in thought, "Um, how about that way?" She asked, pointing to the left.

They started to head in the direction that Marci had chosen. They had walked together through the busy street passing through the random people. Sam was still feeling bad he stilled didn’t really know what to say to the girl. It was starting to drive him up the wall. That was probably something he was going to talk to Dean about. How to talk to women… well maybe not. Knowing Dean it would be something of “Hey, how about you and I go get a room together?” Yeah defiantly not.
“ummm….so…” same began to start…

Marci had been quiet as well, arms crossed over her chest her gaze slowly fell upon him again. "Yeah?" She asked before realizing something out of the corner of her eye. Stopping abruptly she turned to look in the direction of the alleyway. "Uh, just...stay here for a second." She said quietly to Sam, her gun was in her purse, but she didn't want to take it out just yet. Slowly making her way into the alleyway, being as quiet as she could, being in heels was a bit difficult, but she had done hunts in heels before.

Sam was a little worried at the girl who was walking away from him. She seemed like she was on a mission. He slowly followed after her to make sure nothing bad would happen to her. He dug into his jacket pockets looking for some kind of weapon to help defend himself. The only with he found was holy water. He was more use to being prepared. Him and Dean usually would be the first to attack or at least try to be the first. He soon lost sight of Marci trying to follow after her.
“Marci?” he shouted to her. “Marci, where are you?”
